Recommended Displays
Virtual CareGiver plugs into a TV or monitor you already have — no screen is included. If you’d like to set one up in your loved one’s room, here are a few simple, sensible options. You don’t have to buy any of these.
Any TV or monitor with an HDMI port works. Already have a spare TV or computer monitor? Use it. The picks below are just easy, affordable starting points if you’d rather buy something new.
Three options that work well
Bigger, brighter, and higher up on a wall is easier to read from across a room. These are examples of good-value categories — links open an Amazon search so you can compare current options and prices.
-
A 24–27″ 1080p monitor
Best for a tabletop or desk.
A standard full-HD computer monitor with an HDMI port is compact, sharp, and simple. Great when the display sits on a dresser or side table. Usually the least expensive option.

A 32–43″ HDMI TV
Best for reading from across the room.
A small flat-screen TV gives you the largest, most glanceable text for the money. Any model with an HDMI port works — it does not need to be a “smart” TV. Wall-mountable, too.

A VESA wall mount
Best if you want it on the wall.
A simple fixed or tilting VESA bracket puts the screen at eye level and keeps cords tidy. Check the screen’s VESA size (often 100×100 or 200×200 mm) before buying.
